           This display was inspired by the fact that there are designated smoking areas on the outside of campus, but no smoking is allowed in the heart of the campus, where everyone decidedly smokes. Jaclyn Gitlin and I wanted to capture our audience by using celebrities as our voice. We used Angelina Jolie (and her kids) and Jennifer Aniston to let people know that there is in fact, no smoking in the Cesar Chavez student center, where many students gather and smoke. We wanted to prove our point by showing Angelina with her kids, to point out that second-hand smoke isn't healthy for anyone.

            This window was executed as a group, between Lindsey Simunec, Jaclyn Gitlin and myself. This sketch, by Lindsey, is how we began our idea. We wanted to convey the theme of just hanging out at the beach, grillin' and chillin'.

            This window was inspired by "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue" superstition in a wedding.

           This window took place in Fall 2006, right after finals. We wanted to convey the theme of bringing on the New Year and saying "Goodbye" to finals. It has a Holiday party scene including a record player, wrapped presents, a tree, holiday mugs and candy canes, holiday dressed forms, and scantrons and books left by the door.
