Discarded to Divine is part of the St. Vincent De Paul Society which collects used clothing, which are created into couture creations by designers who want to be a part of raising funds to help the poor and homeless.

In this event at the De Young Museum, we helped display the garments for hundreds of guests to come in and view the clothing, talk to the designers, and enjoy the event. To the left is the group of volunteers that made it all happen! We had the pleasure of putting on such an amazing event, we couldn't have done it without Sally Rosen and Jen Shellnut! We were so excited to be part of such a fun event.

I helped display the Accessories, and Housewares items.

Initially, before the event, we submitted floorplans as a group, and evaluated them to decide how we would display over eighty garments. Here is my floorplan.

Jessica Wybenga and I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Sweet P from Project Runway Season 4, who designed a gorgeous red coctail dress for the event.
